Introduction
Welcome to Lux Brows and Lashes. In using any service at Lux Brows and Lashes, you are deemed to have read and agreed to the following Terms and Conditions:

Payments of Service(s)

The following are all acceptable methods of payment.

  • Cash
  • Visa Debit/Credit Card

Our terms are payment of a booking fee prior to commencing service(s). Prices listed on this website are as stated and may be higher based on individual artists’ skills and experience. Please see below regarding booking fees.

 

Booking Fees/Deposits

Lux Brows and Lashes is a prepaid studio. As a busy salon generally booked ‘back-to-back’, we require a booking fee to secure your appointment. If your Booking Fee is not received before your appointment, we will not tentatively hold the booking. The amount paid in your Booking Fee will be deducted from your total on the day. Deposits that cannot be redeemed as intended will be transferred into in-store credit and will have an expiration date. A booking fee is required to secure your booking, which is redeemable but not refundable. Prices are non-negotiable; this includes COVID-19. All booking fees are STRICTLY non-refundable and only redeemable on services (within the cancellation period).

Rescheduling, Cancellations & Refund of Service(s)

We reserve your appointments especially for you, and so we request that you be courteous and respectful and contact us promptly if you are unable to attend an appointment. Please read this section carefully before making a payment, either online, over the phone or in person.

If you need to reschedule ANY appointment during closed hours, please direct all communication via text to our studio number, 0423 028 149. This way, we have a time stamp to work with. Please do not leave us a voicemail.

“No Shows” for any appointments will result in a loss of booking fee and will not be rescheduled for future services.

There’s a full-service cancellation fee if you cancel within three business days of your appointment.

New Brow Feathering & Retouch

Colour Refresh, Extended Colour Refresh, 2nd Retouch:

Brow Sculpt/Lamination, Lash Lift, Consultation:

Rescheduling, Cancellations & Refund of Service(s)

  • Rescheduling three business days or more before the appointment

NO FEE

  • Rescheduling within three business days of the appointment

THE BOOKING FEE PAID WILL BE FORFEITED

Cancellations at any time Lux Brows and Lashes do not refund any service(s). Once you have paid a deposit, you are committing to your appointment and the procedure. No refunds shall be offered for change of mind where a service(s) is deemed to have begun and is underway for all intents and purposes.

All requests for changes and rescheduling must be made via text 0423 028 149, NOT via voicemail or to our automated services.

*Note: ‘business day’ means: For Services, any day other than a Saturday, Sunday, public or bank holiday in the city that is the subject of the relevant booking (Melbourne).

Please note: All NEW Brow Feathering is inclusive of 2 appointments. Second appointments (also known as ‘retouch’ appointments) must be completed no more than 4 – 8 weeks post initial appointment unless otherwise discussed with staff. Rescheduling a ‘retouch’ appointment may result in your new date falling outside this time frame. If so, a Colour Refresh fee will incur. Please discuss this with staff upon booking if you require assistance with this.

Child Safety Policy / Guests

As much as we love children, we hope you understand that we cannot assure their safety in our studio. We also do not want to compromise the quality of your service. Therefore, we limit our treatment to the client and staff only. If you do require to bring a guest with you to the appointment, they are more than welcome to wait in our waiting room until the duration of your work is completed.

Gift Cards / Gift Certificates

Gift cards purchased at Lux Brows and Lashes are to be used within 3 Years from the purchase date unless stated otherwise. Gift cards and gift certificates cannot be exchanged for cash, nor will cash be given in exchange for unused balances. Gift cards and gift certificates are non-refundable and non-transferable.

Reminder Service

We offer an SMS reminder service and email sent to you seven days before your appointment. We ask that you reply ‘YES’ to confirm your appointment. The system only acknowledges YES / Y responses. The automated booking system text does not make or receive calls. Please do not reply to the bookings email or send enquiries as this is a computerised system (this email is not monitored, and we don’t receive email replies via this).

To cancel or reschedule your appointment, you must text the studio on 0423 028 149. alternatively, if you have booked your appointment online, you can reschedule your appointment OUTSIDE of 3 Business days. Lux Brows and Lashes reserves the right to cancel any unconfirmed appointments.

Running Late to Your Appointment

It is recommended that all clients arrive a minimum of 10-15 minutes before their new brow feathering appointment or 5 minutes before any other services. If you are running late, please do let us know, and we will do everything we can to try and accommodate; however, please keep in mind that we may need to reschedule your appointment if you are more than 15 minutes late as we cannot compromise the following client’s appointment. Additionally, being over 15 mins late will result in losing your booking fee.

Please allow yourself time for parking and the possibility of traffic at peak times.
